On Thursday, December 3rd four sections of 4th grade students participated in the "iDream" U of I Extension career exploration lesson entitled "Glow Dreams Glow!"
U of I Program Coordinator Valerie Belusko facilitated a lesson on career centered dreams that students were encouraged to be thinking about. Litchfield Career Services Coordinator Abby Carlson assisted with the lesson as students listed dreams as "fireflies" that they were "collecting" in a jar and keeping for the future.
The "iDream iCreate" U of I Extension curriculum remains a centerpiece of Litchfield CUSD #12's intentional plan of assisting every student with career pathway exploration so that every student leaves high school confident in their initial career plan.
