Due to recent updates from the Illinois Department of Health, Litchfield CUSD #12 will now be closed starting Monday, March 16 through Monday March 30.

District teachers and staff have been preparing learning packets for this event.  Learning packets for the elementary students and Chromebooks for middle school students will be available for pickup from 10a to 4p at your student’s attendance center.  Access to lockers will be limited to students only.  Access to classrooms will be prohibited.  Learning packet updates will also be provided online as they are updated.

Plans are to provide meals to our students at Litchfield High School, Colt Elementary, Russell Elementary, and Madison Park Elementary from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M from Monday through Thursdays during the shutdown.  We will start these meals on Tuesday this week.  These will be Grab & Go meals to take home.  There will be an extra Friday meal provided at pickup on Thursday.  You can pick-up up at any of these locations if your child attends Litchfield Schools.

If you have any questions, contact your child’s building principal.  Please pay attention to the district website as updates will be provided as they become available.
