Parents/Guardians of Juniors, On Tuesday, April 13th, LHS will be administering the mandated SAT to all juniors and any senior who did not take the SAT in the fall. This exam is mandatory as it is a requirement for a diploma from any high school in the state of Illinois. Whether your student is in-person or remote attendance is mandatory on Tuesday, April 13th. Remote students can wait until 8:15 (when all halls have been cleared) to enter the building. We have made sure that class sizes are extremely small and all student desks are 6 feet apart. Testing and intermittent breaks will total approximately four hours, so students will be free to leave by approximately 12:00 or once all testing is complete. Students should prepare to do their best on testing days: Get a good night’s sleep the night before Eat breakfast and arrive at school on time Bring pencils and a calculator with them Take the test seriously, as it will impact their future Bring a water and a healthy snack to eat during break
