Purple Panther Families, please check out our first edition of The Purple Panther. Our community newsletter is funded by the Kilton Grant.
The Purple Panther exists because our schools have remarkable stories unfolding every day. This magazine is not about spotlighting a single achievement or moment, but about offering a fuller picture of the learning, care, and commitment that define our district every day. I hope you’ll agree that we have a story here at Litchfield that is well worth sharing.

Dear Purple Panther Families,
Due to projected sleet/freezing rain mixed with snow, today, February 12, will be an E-Learning day for our students.
Coaches or sponsors will communicate decisions regarding after-school or evening activities.
Thank you for your understanding.
Stay safe and warm,
Dr. McClain

Purple Panthers, we have been informed that the phones have been updated and should be working. We will continue to monitor throughout out the day. If you cannot get through, please always know you can email the office. We appreciate your patience. Have a great day!

Purple Panther Nation, much to the smiles of students across the district....we are OFFICIALLY taking an E Learning day due to the forecast of snow during the morning hours that may impact the afternoon commute on top of our current conditions. While this is a hard call to make with snow just starting in the area, there are varied reports of accumulation of 1 to 4 inches. The current road conditions are still spotty and we are unsure of the impact of the potential snow. We will error on the side of caution. I hope everyone stays safe and warm (while maybe playing in the snow some, too!). Have a great day.

Purple Panther Families, TOMORROW IS STILL AN IN-PERSON instructional day. I have been made aware of an image circulating that shares we are doing eLearning. Please know all communications will come from the District directly. If anything changes for tomorrow, you will be notified through this messaging system and it will be on the news channels. Thank you for understanding. Dr. McClain
🚨 Due to ongoing road conditions, Tuesday, January 7th, will be a snow day for LCUSD12 students (including those attending out-of-district schools or programs) with no e-learning. Coaches will update families about practices and games throughout the day. Stay safe! ❄️ #SnowDay
A final reminder of early dismissal today. Grades K-5 out @ 1:15. Grades 6-12 out @ 1:30. We look forward to seeing our students again on January 7th.
