LES Families,
Today was a FANTASTIC first day of school. Thank you all for your help, support, and patience. Things went smooth today but we know we can get even better in the coming days with some of our procedures. Here is some important information pertaining to dismissal.
Cars are not allowed to be lined up for dismissal prior to 15 minutes before the end of the school day. Cars may start lining up at 2:30 pm in the circle drive of LES. If you are lined up prior to that time, you will be asked to move your vehicle.
Families wishing to walk up to the front door to pick up their child are welcome to do so. We just ask that you please stay to the north side of the building so as not to cause congestion with the students coming out to get in to their cars. We will put up a sign to clearly identify this location for families to wait.
Lastly, to make car pick up go quicker, we ask that you please have your car sign placed in your front window of the passenger side of your car. This will help us to quickly identify who you are here to pick up and get them out to you in a timely manner. If you do not have a sign or lost your sign, please contact the school office.
